Foreside Funk returns to Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club on September 14, joined by special guest Kenya Hall for a night of funk, soul, R&B, and New Orleans-inspired grooves.

One of New England’s most respected soul and funk vocalists, Kenya has shared stages with artists including The Roots, Dr. John, Fred Wesley, Lettuce, Jon Fishman, Nigel Hall, Shemekia Copeland, and Rustic Overtones.

For this special show, Foreside Funk has created new horn arrangements for songs from Kenya’s repertoire, bringing her powerful vocals together with the band’s six-piece horn section and signature sound.
